The Stories

At only one and a half minutes, these stories might appear to be little snippets or samples. But they're not! These examples of "Flash Fiction," a literary genre of very short narratives, begin in the middle and quickly develop into a mini story, often with a sort of punchline ending.

I've been told that hearing me read them aloud is a different experience from reading them.

Test them out for yourself. They are packed with descriptions and interesting characters. You might want to listen twice.

Read all the stories in my little illustrated book of twelve encaustic collage portraits with a teeny slice of their lives.
