Inspired by vintage photographs.

I'm a graduate of A.D. Eisenhower High School in Norristown, Pennsylvania and attended Ursinus College for 13 years as an adult, graduating cum laude in 2005 with a B.A. in English and a minor in Creative Writing.
Retired from Vanguard after a 28-year career in marketing, I teach workshops on art and herb gardening, another passion.
Self taught in art for the most part, I work out of my home studio in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, a northwestern suburb of Philadelphia.
This old photograph of three sisters sitting on the porch of a victorian-style house came from the Spring-Ford Historical Society in Royersford, PA. Marked "The Wagoner Sisters," the staff there was able to track down the house to nearby Spring City.
After completing the painting, I wrote a letter to the current inhabitants of the house and was delighted when the family residing there bought this piece for their home saying, "I love the painting and cannot wait to have it here. The Wagoner Sisters should be in the home where they grew up."
